FSSAI Registration
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India is the Administrative Ministry for the implementation of FSSAI.
A food license by which is issued by the FSSAI is regarded as a permit which is required to operate a food-related business and also in order to ensure good quality of food in your business and for the benefits one from government actions on non-compliances.
In this age of information, the consumers have become more alert and informative about the quality of the food which they eat. With the number of diets and increasing healthy eating options, people are required to know as to what they are consuming is not just safe but is of really good quality.

    Types of FSSAI Licensing
    1. FSSAI Basic License
      A food business with an annual turnover of 12 lacks or more needs to get a food license. The department will then verify the KYC of the FBO, and if everything is good, you will get the license. The basic license is obtained in 3-4 working days.
    2. FSSAI State License (The State License is obtained in 30-60 days.)
      1. an  FBO with the annual turnover between 12 lacks and 20 crores
      2. manufacturers
        • Dairy Units: Producing 501 LPD to 50,000 LPD of milk or 2.5 to 2500 metric tonnes of milk solids per annum.
        • Vegetable Oil Processing Units: Producing 2 metric tonnes per day.
        • All other food Processing Units: All Cereals, grains & pulses with production between 100 kg/lt to 2 Metric tonnes per day.
      3. Other Businesses
        • Normal Storage: having Capacity of 50,000 metric tonnes or greater.
        • Cold Storage: having Capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes or greater.
        • Atmosphere Controlled Storage: having Capacity or 1,000 metric tonnes or greater.
        • For Wholesaler: turnover up to 30 crores/annum.
        • Food Vending Agency: vending machines between 12 to 100 in one States.
        • Transporter: up to 100 vehicles/turnover up to 30 crores.
        • Hotel: up to 4 Star hotels.
    3. FSSAI Central License
      1. An  FBO with the annual turnover between 12 lacks and 20 crores
      2. manufacturers
        1. Dairy Units: Producing 501 LPD to 50,000 LPD of milk or 2.5 to 2500 metric tonnes of milk solids per annum.
        2. Vegetable Oil Processing Units: Producing 2 metric tonnes per day.
        3. All other food Processing Units: All Cereals, grains & pulses with production between 100 kg/lt to 2 Metric tonnes per day.
      3. Other business

    For State License

    • Declaration Form

    • MOA/AOA / Partnership deed
    • Company GSTN
    • business plan & details of food products
    • Authority letter in the favor of the consultant
    • NOC from Property owner along with rental agreement FSSAI Licensing
    • Electricity bills of business / Factory / Warehouse
    • In case of Transporter applying for FSSAI license need to provide RC of vehicles along with a declaration
    • NOC from Brand owner in case you are doing re-packaging business
